We have quality facilities for all your animal care needs
We invest a lot of time and money in our services to ensure our facilities are modern and comfortable for your pets. Our expert facilities mean you can enjoy great services.
Cat waiting area
We are passionate about caring for your pets. Your cat can become more stressed than other animals when forced to socialise with dogs or rabbits in the practice waiting room. That’s why our calm and well-designed ‘comfortable cat’ waiting area exists – to give your furry friend a relaxing visit when they see us.
Pet passports and export
Pet passports are vital if you want your pet to travel abroad – and they can only be authorised by a fully qualified veterinary surgeon. We have the facilities to check your pet thoroughly for illness and provide it with the immunisations and paperwork it requires before it can travel to other countries.
Grooming
To keep your pet looking spick and span, we’ve associated ourselves with local dog grooming specialists MutzCutz. One of our vets can be present in case your dog needs any specialist treatment, or sedation for grooming.
Young at Heart
Geriatric wellness checks are a vital part of life for older pets. Our Young at Heart tests involve a comprehensive check-up for your animal, and involves blood tests, and an examination for any underlying conditions such as skin, dental, eye or digestive problems.
Pet euthanasia and cremation services
If your pet is in unmanageable pain or his or her quality of life is too poor, we can also provide a caring euthanasia service. We can do this as a house visit or you can have an appointment at the surgery.
Contact us for more details.
After euthanasia or in the sad event that your pet is no longer with us, we can arrange a simple and respectful cremation. Options include;
Your pet’s ashes returned to you in a scatter casket or a choice of permanent caskets.
You can bury your pet at home.
Your pet can go for communal cremation in which case the ashes are kept by the crematorium.
We can provide a laminated paw print of your pet’s foot or a clipping of their fur as a keepsake.
All of our staff can advise you but we have a dedicated nurse, Maria, who you can talk to about any of the above and she can support you after the event as well.
Pet behaviour problems
Some pets can suffer from behavioural problems, such as over-excitability, territorial aggression, destructiveness, insecurity and much more.
In the event of any behavioural difficulties, we can refer you and your pet to a qualified Animal Behaviourist.
