What words describe us?

Busy. Plenty of cases to gain experience with. We are an extremely well equipped practice but always happy to invest in more if appropriate.
Supportive. CPD fully funded pretty much without limits, we want to see you learn and develop. We have a very supportive environment frecent graduates with regular reviews. For new graduates we run a New Graduate Support and Development Programme. For more experienced vets we will support you in whichever way you want your career to go, our aim is to make you a better vet.
Friendly. We are an independent, family run practice. Enjoying work is just as important as doing it well, indeed it makes it easier to do it well.
Professional. We are driven by high customer and patient service and doing the extra thing to make care better whilst running a profitable business.
Caring. We have excellent nursing staff and nursing care, we aim to give the best possible care for all patients and their owners. We work with local animal charities to provide care for disadvantaged pets too.
Teamwork. We have a great team, but we are only as strong as our team members, come and make us stronger.
High standards. We are RCVS GP standard, a VNTC, IIP, cat, rabbit and bee friendly. We have a surgery certificate holder on site and regularly perform laproscopic surgery.
Rewarding. There is a salary of course, but feeling part of a successful team and contributing to practice development are important too. More experienced vets may wish to assist in management and clinical direction responsibility.
A vet who fits in and gets on with the staff is one of the most important criteria, we can work on just about everything else.
